Department of Agricultural Science

Pursuing Environmentally-Friendly Crop Production for Food and Satisfaction

In this department, researches on Agricultural Science are conducted such as crop production system supporting food production, horticulture contributing to human health and amenity, plant pathology relating to the physiology and ecology of microbes and disease germs, sort-out of genetic resources of various insects, entomological control over the damage caused by vermin, and heredity and breeding aiming at genetic analysis and breeding of plant resources.
